david wayne black
david wayne black as Jeff
david wayne black
david wayne black is the proud father of Lars, age 5, and Sierra, age 9. He currently is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Karen. (Sorry, ladies!)

In his free time, david allows himself to be dragged around town by his faithful Lab, Ubu. He is a member of Alton Road Runners, and has been known to attend Main Street UMC. Unfortunately, Mr. black also suffers from the persistent delusion that he is a writer.

Though “Gameheads” is david’s first feature film, he did have two previous roles as “Employee Who Gave a Hoot” and “Loving Spouse,” his longest and most convincing acting job.

david has lived in the Alton area for over half his life, and his attorney says he does not have to answer any further questions about that.

Ryu Cope
Ryu Cope as Pete
Ryu Cope
Dan Wakageryu Cope ("Ryu" for short) has been employed in most every form of creative work imaginable. He has acted on stage and done v/o work on training videos, as well as performing stand-up comedy and comedy magic.

Ryu is the creator of the "Ryu-Ki System: Sunserra" roleplaying game featured in Gameheads.

In his spare time, Ryu practices Serrada Escrima and acts as whipping-boy for Inflatable Turtle Productions. He also wastes time with his podcast, Bad Buddhist Radio.

More about Ryu can be found at his website: ryucope.com.

Tim Harlan
Tim Harlan as Ethan
Tim Harlan
Tim often refers to himself as a "sanelunatic". When asked why he chose that combination, he says "with all I have dealt with in my life, I wonder why I haven't lost my mind. Then again maybe I have." If asked if the glass is half empty or half full, he will cut the glass in half and tell you "now it's full."

Tim Harlan has been on the earth for 38 years, but feels he did not start to live until 10 years ago. He is often found with a book close by, always learning new and interesting things about what he chooses to call reality. He can be stubborn, and sometimes a bit of a smart-ass but never will you find a nicer person.

Acting-wise, this is Tim's first major role -- unless you count all those thankless years playing an actor in roleplaying games.

Chris Jones
Chris "Mr." Jones as Shane
Chris "Mr." Jones
Mr. Jones has done a lot of interesting things. He hosted and was featured in a weekly sketch comedy show in a seedy biker bar for two years. He was featured in the award winning mocumentary “Hooch and Daddy-O”. He has appeared on stage as everything from Yoda, Solomon Grundy, and Connor MacLeod, to Lord Angus in a post-apocalyptic adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, to a two-headed, button pushing monster named Horribus!

Mr. Jones is proud to be a part of “Gameheads”. He put in 2 years of preparation for this role living in his grandparent’s basement and working at a geek boy store.

In every bio he has ever written Mr. Jones thanks Bruno Funucci for no apparent reason, this bio shall be no different.

Erin K. McCann
Erin K. McCann as Mallory
Erin K. McCann
Erin McCann is a proud graduate of Cottey College, an all-female Liberal Arts college in southern Missouri. After dedicating much of her education to Theatre and Journalism, Erin developed a crippling fear of deadlines and retreated to the safety of Creative Writing. She has yet to publish a work.

Though Erin has never acted on film, she has been in fifteen theatrical productions, and worked on the crew of twenty-eight productions.

“Gameheads” has been a unique experience for Erin, not only in that it is her first film, but also because it is the closest she has come to an actual role-playing game. Previously suffering from a mild phobia of role-playing, Erin has overcome her disability to develop an understanding with role-playing culture, and is having a lovely time working on “Gameheads.”

Aaron Standridge
Aaron Standridge as Jason
Aaron Standridge
Aaron hasn't gotten us a bio yet, so that means we get to make something up.

As an infant, Aaron Standridge was abandoned in the wilds of Pere Marquette Park. He was adopted by a pack of coyotes and raised as one of their own. In the late 1980's, Aaron was captured by Illinois State Animal Control after many raids of the park's campground.

Forced into the public school system, Aaron quickly rejoined humanity with only a few minor biting incidents. All of his shots are now up to date and he gets along well in society so long as he isn't startled by loud noises.

Erik Williams
Erik A. Williams as Max
Erik A. Williams
Erik has been doing the acting thing for over 10 years now. He grew up onstage doing community theatre and is fast becoming a notable television/film actor with this and another independent feature, "The Book" under his belt.

In the summer of 1999 he embarked upon a year-long international tour with the amazing "Up with People" organization and also participated in the premiere show relaunch of the program this past April. He also appeared as a guest on The Tyra Banks Show in 2005.

Erik is having a blast being a part of the Gameheads cast and can't wait to see it go worldwide!
